trouble at the table

Well I've got the F16 out of the box. I got this for a good price from a friend who had started putting bits together. This is where the problem starts. The parts that have been put together are not shall we say , hmm good. So cue me taking all the bits I could back apart. I've had a few choices taken away from me such as, the gun now has to be closed up. The lower half has had been plastered in filler so I've had to sand that all away, and the intake has been fitted so I've got to try and somehow fill the seams down the sides whilst its already fitted.

big boy up next

I've really been looking forward to building this one . I don't have a clue where I'm going to put it when It's finished. Researching the F-16 has thrown up lots of questions, some that I still don't have the answers for. The one thing I do know is that I'm going to put a pilot in this one. I also have some resin goodies for it.

Strike Eagle

I picked this up for a tenner in the second hand section at Hannants London shop. I've loved every second of it .

Telford weekend

As I'm sure your all aware it's the big one this weekend, Telford.

I won't be going because I don't finish work until 0730 on Saturday morning. So instead I'm going to take my girls to the RAF museum at Hendon and hopefully pop into hannants next door.

Never ending it SEAMS'

These two kits are pushing me over the edge of that little plastic cliff. The seam above the cockpit on the B-17 has now got to the point where it is beginning to move the cockpit glazing to one side. Only solution is to STOP and let it be, otherwise i can see myself throwing this somewhere hard.

The trident also has a seam on top of the fuselage but at least it's reponded to some more filler and sanding. The real problem on this kit at the moment is the white paint, everyone i know who makes airliners swear by Halfords gloss appliance white from a can. Well I just SWEAR at it !

It has bubbled up in a couple of areas causing me no end of headaches.
