It took a few hours but I'm now back where I belong.

Airfix curtis hawk 81-A-2

I've really enjoyed doing this brand new tooling from airfix. Some of the parts are a bit of a pain to cut from the runners but other than that. Brilliant !

Just got the canopy to fit in the morning.

Whoo ! Just notice I've left the eyes off.

Revell Routemaster

I am seriously looking forward to this kit. I used to drive these on the 7's and 23's between 1998 and 2004. I can honestly see myself with 3 or 4 of these kits when they are released.

On the move again

For the third time in as many months I've had to change rooms for all my modelling stuff. I suppose i should be grateful for a room to myself. I just wish my wife and kids could decide where to put me. So as of tomorrow i'll be back to the original space i had when we moved in three years ago.

I'm having a bit of a go on E-Bay at the moment. I've bid on a lot of stuff mainly UK Phantoms but also the kit that has eluded me for some time now, the Revell re boxing of the wonderful Shackleton.

Ill let you know how it goes.

Back to the old girl

I'm back on the sea vixen after finding some more articles in old modelling magazines. I've just got a few bits to attach then it'll be time for some paint.

The desk

Published with Blogger-droid v1.7.4

I am back

It's been a long while since I've posted anything on here. So this is just a bit of a test from my i pad.

I have finally managed to get my grubby mitts on the Airfix Valiant, a plane which my grandad worked on during his national service. My nan is in the process of sorting some photos and papers relating to his time on Christmas island during operation grapple. No prizes for guessing which markings it's going to be finished in.

On the desk at the moment are the Monogram B17G in 1/48, the Airfix Trident in 1/144 ( a first for me ) and the very nice Italeri Mig 29UB in 1/72nd scale.
